How to Make Your Voice Sound Like a Girl using Voxal

Download Voxal Voice Changer onto your computer and follow the installation instructions. When you first open the application, you should see the message at the bottom informing you that "Voxal has started correctly." This means that while open, Voxal will apply your chosen vocal effects to your voice in any application that uses your microphone.

Girl Voice

Voxal Voice changing software comes pre-loaded with several folders full of real human voices. If you are specifically wondering how to make your voice sound like a girl's voice, there are 4 different female voice options to choose from. Click on the People folder and select from one of the female voice options. You will now sound like a girl to anyone listening to you speak through your microphone.

Customize Voice

Each Voxal voice is made up of a combination of effects that have been adjusted to make the voice sound the way it does. If you wish to fine-tune your girl voice, you can adjust those effects or even layer more effects on top of it to achieve your desired girly sound. Simply double click on the effect or click on the Edit icon in the main toolbar to open the effects window to edit your female voice effect.

Preview Voice Changer Effects

You can preview your voice changer effects in real-time by clicking on the Preview button, located in the main toolbar. You should start to see fluctuations in the microphone levels as your microphone is now active with the live girl voice effects applied.

Voxal Options

Click on the Options button to choose how you would like to listen to your audio in preview mode (above). You can choose to hear your voice in real-time when previewing your effect, or have the playback delayed slightly so that you can hear it after you are done speaking. The options window is also where you can change your recording and playback devices if you wish to use a different microphone, speakers, or media player.

Record

You can record your voice with the female voice changer effect applied and save the files for use in other applications or to send and share online. Simply click on the Record button in the main toolbar to launch the Record Voice Effect window. Click on the Record button in this window to start recording and the Stop button to stop. You can then playback your recording or open your recording in the playback window to edit and save as well.

Playback Voice Recordings

Select the Recordings button in the main toolbar to playback your voice recordings with your voice changed to a girl's voice. This will open the Find and Play Recordings window where you can adjust your output settings and playback your recorded girl voice audio files.

Add Girl Voice Effect to Existing Files

Effects like the girl voice can also be applied to existing audio files on your computer. Under the Tools tab, simply click on Process a File and then select the audio file that you would like to apply the girl voice effect to in the Locate Sound File window. An additional window will open prompting you to name the output file and select an output destination. Once you click Save, the file will be processed and the final output will have your female voice changer effect applied to it.
