Often times the audio you add to your slideshows and presentations may be the most memorable part of your entire project. Most people are apt to remember a catchy tune and find themselves humming, whistling and even singing it. Take for example the Jaws world-famous: “da duh, da duh”.

With PhotoStage, you can make your slideshows memorable by adding tracks, sounds, and recordings to your projects. This process is intuitive and will add a special touch to your presentations.

Add Your Media

Once you have downloaded PhotoStage, you can begin adding your media. PhotoStage allows for multiple types of media to be added at the same time. From the “Add Media” menu select your desired photos, videos, and music tracks.

You can also add music using the “Add Audio” button to the right of your media bin.

PhotoStage comes equipped with a full sound and music library. You can access the NCH Sound library by clicking the slideshow menu at the top of the screen and selecting ” NCH Sound Effect Library.”

The following screen will open:
To download a sound, select it from the main list view then click the Download button. The audio file will be downloaded and added to the media list in your project.

Intuitive Drag & Drop

Once your media has been selected, you are ready to drag and drop it to the audio clip track.
You can trim your audio clip by hovering your mouse over one of the ends, then dragging it left or right when it becomes a double-sided arrow.

Notice the different lengths for each audio clip:

Once you have adjusted your audio clips, PhotoStage features an option to “right-click” the clip and choose from the following features:
This tool allows your clip to fade in, fade out, or loop clip until the end of the slideshow. This makes your slideshow look and sound more professional.

With PhotoStage you are ready to set the mood for your audience and evoke a strong or sentimental feeling with each passing picture. You are now ready to find the power of audio in your slideshows. Happy Editing!
