With an increasing number of employees adapting to working from home; it is essential to maintain a working style similar to the one you’re accustomed to at your office. This might include a similar desk set-up, (yes including your succulents and images of your family) along with a similar computer setup that includes all your work files. However, if you find yourself encountering issues transferring files to your home computer due to their size, NCH has the right tool for you!
With Express Zip File Compression, you can easily choose your files, compress them and email them all from the program itself. Don’t miss out on any important files, compress them using Express Zip and keep the same productivity levels going.
After you've downloaded Express Zip, select "Create a new archive" from the launch window. Then, click on "Add Files" or simply drag and drop the files that you want to send via email into Express Zip.
On the main interface, Express Zip displays the document name, type of document, along with its original size, and the compressed size. When you’re assured all the files have been added to your archive, click the “Email” icon on the far right top hand corner. This will activate the emailing process.
Choose the email you would like your new archive delivered to:
Allow the process to take place. When Express Zip is done emailing your archive, a successful message will appear at the bottom of your screen stating: “Email Sent Successfully”
We recommend that if you have a lot of data to send, even with compression, you may need to make a few archives due to email attachment size limitations. Express Zip also features an encryption tool for files that contain sensitive information. You can use the Encrypt tool to secure the data before emailing.
Express Zip is an essential tool that makes moving your office files to your home office quick and simple. Never miss a beat as you transition offices, especially during these most difficult times.
