Get started with your project in MixPad by opening an existing file to set the sample rate of any audio track.
For the best playback and recording quality in an audio project, it is important to match the sample rate of your audio files to the project sample rate. Audio sample rate determines the range of frequencies captured in digital audio. Many music streaming services use the rate of 44.1 kHz, while video formats commonly use 48 kHz.
To set the project sample rate in MixPad, click the Options button on the Home Tab. On the General tab, in the Audio Playback section, you will see the Default Playback Sample Rate. Select your desired sample rate from the dropdown list. You can also set the default playback to match the audio source by selecting the Match Source option.
