Create Zip Files Using Express Zip

Zip files can often be used for a myriad of purposes; file compression, split archives and encryption to name a few. But before you can begin using zip files, you need to know the ins and outs of how to create one.

Having to share large amounts of data can be tedious and complicated. This is where zip files can become extremely useful. You can “zip up” that large amount of data into a single zip archive, and then share it. Express Zip makes this process simple and efficient for everyone to accomplish.

After you have downloaded Express Zip, begin by creating a “new archive”.

You will want to also change the location of your new zip folder by adjusting the file pathway in Express Zip. Otherwise, newly zip file archives will be stored in your Documents folder.

After you have set the destination of your new “Zip folder” you can start adding the files you want your new archive to include. To do this, simply select “Add Files” or drag and drop your files directly into the interface of Express Zip.

You will quickly notice that the process is similar to creating a new folder. Naming the new archive will make it easy to search for your archives in the future.

After you are finished adding your files, you are done! You can find the zip folder in the destination you have selected. If you wish to create an additional zip folder, simply select the brown box icon that says New and repeat the process above.

The process of creating a zip folder makes having all those files in a single zip archive extremely convenient. Not only will this make sharing your files a breeze, they’ll also be compressed to reduce storage.

Edit Metadata Tags Using Prism Video Converter

The Editing Process

After you have downloaded Prism, begin converting your video files. Prism makes it simple to do this by choosing your video, choosing your desired format and clicking convert. Once you have your files, you can begin the editing process. To edit your tags, right-click on the file you would like to edit and select “Edit Tags...”

A new window called Tag Editor will appear:

From this editor menu, you can begin adding important details to your file. Choose the name of the file, director, producer and even the creation date.

Get creative and add artwork to your file. Click on “Browse” and select the appropriate image from your images folder.
This menu also allows for a specific rating to be added to each file. Simply drag along your mouse over the stars and select the appropriate rating for each file.

Notice the bottom of the editor; Prism allows for the edits to be applied on both your source file and converted files.

You can also save time and edit multiple files at once. To do this, simply select 2 or more files, right-click them, and select “Edit Tags...” again.

We have all been there; you have the perfect piece of audio that you can’t wait to get home and play over and over. Unfortunately, there is unwanted background noise that is making it difficult for you to really enjoy your audio file, and are ultimately having second thoughts on whether you want to keep your file or not.

Before you decide to delete your file, however, we have a solution that will help it get the pristine status it deserves. Begin by downloading WavePad Audio Editor and read the following steps to clean your audio files of any unwanted noise.

While there are many ways to reduce and completely remove background noise from an audio file, WavePad Audio Editor provides the easiest option.

After you have uploaded your file to WavePad, find the “Cleanup” tool under the “Effects” toolbar:

From the Cleanup drop-down menu, select “Noise Reduction” then “Auto Spectral Subtraction”:

Synthesize Your Text Files Using Voxal Voice Changer

Before clicking on the synthesize button, you will want to select a voice effect to apply to the audio. You can find all the voice effects on the left portion of Voxal's interface. When you are ready to synthesize your text files into a recording; locate the “Synthesize” feature located under the “Tools” tab:

Begin loading your text by selecting the “Load Text” button on the left. You can load text from your clipboard, an open Word document or from a text file.

After the text has loaded onto the screen, select the “Read” button to preview audio of your text. You can select a different voice effect by clicking the “Stop” button and choosing one from the previous screen while the synthesize screen is open. To hear the new voice effect, simply click the Read button again.

When you are happy with your audio, select the “Process” button. This will prompt open the "Save File as" screen:

From this screen, you can choose the file type you want to save your new recording as, the file name and the new recording destination. Save your new recordings by clicking the “Save” button. We are sure this will save you time and effort when having to record long scripts or text files.
